House rules

Dear Guest,

We have built this holiday accommodation with a lot of hard work, effort and attention to detail. We want to keep the quality of our offer permanently high and attach great importance to all guests feeling comfortable from the beginning to the end of the season. We therefore ask you to treat your holiday accommodation with the same respect as you would your own home. You are instrumental in ensuring that we can offer you and other guests a pleasant stay.

General

Please do not regard our house rules as instructions, but as a guideline for a harmonious coexistence. If anything is unclear or you are missing something, please feel free to contact us. In this way, misunderstandings can be avoided right from the start. Please make sure that your fellow travellers also know and observe the house rules.

As much as sunshine is tempting, indoor furnishings should remain in the house and not be carried or moved outside. To avoid damage, please refrain from moving furnishings and avoid entering with street shoes.

Damages

Don't worry: we won't charge you immediately for every glass or broken plate. Because we know: Nobody damages things on purpose, but things can get broken in the heat of the moment. We ask you to inform us promptly of any minor mishaps. This gives us the opportunity to quickly provide replacements.

Safety and duty of care

The holiday apartment door should always be closed and locked with a key when leaving the house. However, for fire safety reasons, we ask you to keep the front door closed at all times, but not to lock it with the key at night. Please also do not forget to close the windows when leaving the holiday accommodation in order to prevent burglary and storm damage.

Environment

Sustainability and environmental protection play a major role for us. Therefore, we ask you to use water and electricity sparingly. Make sure you turn off the lights, air conditioning and all electronic devices when you leave the house.

Kitchen

Since a dirty kitchen does not bring a smile to anyone's face, please put crockery, pots and cutlery only cleaned and dried back into the kitchen cupboards. Hot pots and other items should only be placed on the tables or worktop with a trivet to avoid burn marks. A chopping board as a base prevents unsightly scratches when chopping vegetables, fruit & co. Unsightly residues, crusts in oven and microwave should be removed. Sufficient cleaning supplies are available.

Bathroom

No hygiene products, waste, food leftovers, harmful liquids, grease or similar may be thrown or poured into the shower, washbasin, kitchen sink or toilet, as this may cause unpleasant blockages. These items belong in the waste container.

Ventilation

The flat must be sufficiently ventilated even in the cold season. By ventilating as briefly as possible, but sufficiently (approx. 5-10 minutes, several times a day), you reduce mould growth and make a significant contribution to protecting against infection.

Barbecue

In the interest of fire safety, please refrain from barbecuing with charcoal, from barbecuing on the balcony, from using fire accelerants and an open fire in the garden.

Clean the barbecue after use and dispose of the cooled ashes and barbecue residues in the residual waste.

Disposal

As we are obliged to separate waste, we ask you to help us with this. Please separate your waste into organic waste, paper, plastic, residual waste and glass. Appropriate disposal options can be found at the property. You will receive new rubbish bags from the host. Please dispose of used glass in the waste glass container provided. You can find this at the corner of Siedlungswerg /Lindstedter street

cleaning

Should a mishap occur (stubborn dirt, liquids on the floor or work surfaces, etc.), we ask you to clean it up immediately. We ask you to leave the flat swept clean on departure and to put all used dishes back into the cupboards. Avoid make-up stains on towels and bed linen that are difficult to remove.

Rest time

We like our neighbours, and they like us. Help us to keep it that way. Please respect the community and try to respect general quiet times such as midday, night and Sunday rest and avoid loud noise between 11pm and 8am.

Party/Overnight guests

We are not suitable as a party or event location. If you would like to receive visitors overnight during your stay, please make prior arrangements. Persons not indicated are not permitted to stay overnight in the accommodation.

Internet/Wifi

The use of the internet is free of charge, but at your own risk. Please note our terms of use for the Wifi.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the house. However, you may smoke outside, e.g. on the balcony. Please dispose of all cigarette butts in the ashtray provided.

Pets

Bringing pets is not allowed because we also rent our accommodation to allergy sufferers.

Key´s

Please never give the keys out of your hand. Please inform us immediately of any loss of keys. Please understand that we have to charge replacement costs in the amount of 95,-€ .

Liability

The landlord is not liable for valuables of the guest(s).

House right

In the case of immediately necessary repairs/services (e.g. gardener), it may be essential for the landlord or service provider to enter the holiday accommodation during your stay. Of course, we will notify you in advance of entering the accommodation or the property if possible and arrange this with you.

Arrival/Departure

Please do not check in before 4pm on the day of arrival and leave the holiday accommodation by 10am on the day of departure. This gives us enough time to ensure that every guest finds clean accommodation to enjoy.

Hygiene measures in times of Corona

In the interest of all our guests and staff, we ensure that important hygiene rules are communicated and followed in our holiday accommodation. You will find our current Corona instructions on the separate notice board.

You are also welcome to use our Corona etiquette guide and refer to it here. (please delete after taking note)

Thank you in advance for being super guests and for appreciating a harmonious coexistence! We wish you a wonderful stay in your holiday accommodation!

Your hosts
Christiane and Karsten Hübner
